JavaScript Programmer
I had lunch with my friend, Steve Harris, the other day when I mentioned that I always had a hard time learning how to program JavaScript. I can read and understand the gist of the code, but ask me to write something from scratch and I’ll give you a blank page. Steve made the above joke and I must say he speaks the truth. How many times has a programmer or developer told me, “I just go online and pull a script. Then I customize it to my needs” :) Which is really the original intent of the Internet and software programming, right? Open, knowledge sharing, that whole philosophy. But that’s another post (and I’ve begun rambling). Anyhoo, I hope you enjoyed Steve’s quote as much as I did.
